Cassius Creative is the production and lighting design collaboration of Chris 'Squib' Swain and Dan Hill.

Meeting during their time studying Theatre Lighting Design at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (graduating in 2009 and 2010 respectively) it was the similarities in their approach to design whilst working independently in the years that followed, that led them to form Cassius Creative in January 2016, working as one united design entity.

Expanding with the addition of Jack Channer as production and design assistant in 2018; Cassius Creative work from their East London based design studio, on a diverse range of projects for clients worldwide.

When not writing about themselves for websites, they will likely be agreeing on what and where best to eat dinner, whilst disagreeing what best to drink when they get there.

Believing in quality creativity and a high level of finish; attention to all details is core to the Cassius Creative concept - with their combined experience, opinion and imagination making sure these standards remain evident from initial concept creation, to the refined finish of the unique end results.

Cassius Creative’ design process evolves from working with artists, management & creative directors on bespoke initial sketches of ideas uniquely curated for each project, to detailed designs drawn with precision and accuracy.

This leads to the ability to produce complex photorealistic 3D images and animations of each concept, allowing lighting designs and creative concepts to be visualised far in advance of committing to any physical or financial obligations.

In this virtual enviroment, they are able to precisely programme lighting and video using the latest control technology as required - entering rehearsals and shows fully prepared for each project, all leading to unexampled, world class designs - implemented and executed at the highest quality possible.
